For its 25th edition, the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors
recorded the largest edition ever organized!

As you all know, for the 2022 edition, the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors celebrated its 25th anniversary. On this occasion, the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors broke all records by organising the largest edition ever recorded!

After 2 years of absence for some because of a health crisis, the tchoukers in Switzerland and in the world showed us once again how much they are attached to this event and all that this competition represents for them!

Indeed, if we summarize this 25th edition in a few figures, it is more than 2'500 players of all ages, 11 days of non-stop competitions, 1'665 matches, 384 teams including 21 national teams, overall than 5'000 visitors at the Queue d'Arve sports centre, tens of thousands of views on Youtube, a live international broadcast of the Nations Cup finals which has been further extended, tens of thousands of interactions on social networks, nearly 50,000 visits to our website in 1 month and nearly 200,000 in one year.

The Tchoukball Geneva Indoors has taken on a much larger dimension this year than we had imagined and we are all delighted! We are all now looking forward to seeing you again for the next edition!

Highest quality TV/Video tchoukball images for international and professional broadcasting!

The great novelty of this edition was the new partnership that has been set up with Quattro Media. Professional in the broadcasting of sports events, this partner took care of promoting our matches live on different online platforms. The finals were broadcast live on 5 platforms in 5 countries: Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Denmark and Italy.

The Nations Cup clips were embedded in global news sites, generating over 140'000 views. Other clips were shown on more than 4,000 out-of-home screens (train stations, airports, shopping malls...) in more than 200 cities in Germany for one month, generating more than 6 million views.

The Geneva Indoors communication team also ensured a live broadcast of all matches on court 2, allowing fans to follow the games live not only from the Brandt Arena, but also doubling the TV/video coverage of the Nations Cup.

It is also worth noting that for this edition, in addition to commentary in French and English, some matches have been commented in German and Italian for the first time.

With such novelties and improvements, we fully achieved our goal of continuously increasing the visibility of the event and of tchoukball in general.

New International Volunteer Programme

The Tchoukball Geneva Indoors is an opportunity for exchange, not only in the game, but also in the organisation of events. The Geneva Indoors, as the largest Tchoukball competition in the world, is also about sharing skills with other people, countries and events. This is why we have set up a programme for tchoukball volunteers from all over the world.

For the 2023 edition we welcomed two participants, one from Brazil and one from Kenya. These two young women were able to experience the event from the inside as volunteers in the areas of communication, refereeing and logistics. They also had the opportunity to play in competition. These experiences allowed them to leave with lots of new ideas and skills to help organise local events in their country.

This year was the first edition of this programme and we clearly have the will to develop this programme in the future, to improve its structure and to propose it to more participants, because we are convinced that it is a great tool to share the skills acquired by the Tchoukball Geneva Indoors organisation team.

So if you too would like to come and participate in the biggest tchoukball tournament in the world, we count on you to register as a volunteer for the next edition.
